Reflections
WJMC.
A simple conference, which changed my life. I met so many amazing people, some who are sure to be life long friends. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be able to quite explain how grateful I am to have had this opportunity this summer.
I know I’ve already said it a million times, but if you helped me to get here, thank you.
This conference means so much to me. I never would have imagined myself as someone who would be interested in being a journalist, but after this week, I think I honestly could say I’d love to give it a shot at some point. I also realized that when I go to college, I really want to lean towards TV Production in my studies in college, as that’s really where my heart belongs. Maybe I’ll even double major in Communications, to widen my skill set that much more.
It’s a big world out there, but I really feel that I’m at least somewhat closer to being ready to go out there and create a name for myself.
To all of my color group friends, Orange Pride! I already miss you guys so much, if you ever need anything, let me know. I’ll be here. =)
I guess that’s about it. It seems sad that this is my last post on this blog, but I know I’m always going to have it so I can look back on my experiences.
I’ll end it by saying the words I feel like I can never say enough:
This trip was amazing, thank you. =)
